Here, Now, Adrift (A Sonnet)
My love from so far past and long ago
Long since passed by march of time advancing
I remember you as light in shadow
A lullaby on the cold wind, dancing
I knew you by burrows of blanket blue
Autumn leaves beneath conscripted to hide
The clock chimes telling of moment's accrue
A song of morning along my bedside
Ere sunrise, in silence solemn, resting
Here, now, adrift among these passing dreams
Lies memory of your air arresting
Now a resonance on emerald streams
I remember you with love overdue
I remember you, I remember you
